IAP2 Certification Task Force Needs YOU!

The IAP2 Certification Task Force is still open for input into the draft Core Competencies document. You can have your say up till Wednesday, Dec. 3.

The Task Force was commissioned in later 2013 and includes members from the US, Canada, and South Africa.  We started our work by doing research into how other professionals conduct their credentialing programs.  Based on our research, we decided that the program should be based on a set of “core competencies” defined by practitioners.  We conducted a survey of members in the USA, Canada, and Southern Africa affiliates – and we received lots of input.  We have been working to frame core competencies using all the ideas submitted in response to our survey

Are the Core Competencies Right?

The November Learning Webinar focused on the work of the Certification Task Force, the proposed certification process and getting the Core Competencies right. Please click here to view the webinar.

So what do you think? We are eager to learn if you think that we are on the right path. Please submit your reactions to the draft core competencies via this link by December 3, 2014 or send an email to certification@iap2usa.org.
